Measure C Committee Membership

 Committee Responsibilities:
- Monitor board expenditures
- Achieve Brown Act Compliance
- Report Measure C expenditures compliance to the MCHCD Board
All Measure C committee work is advisory-only to the Board. Committee and Board involvement in business planning must be structured to adhere to public meeting requirements under the Brown Act and applicable law. Issues involving Adventist Health proprietary information will first occur at a staff-to-staff level to maintain protected proprietary rights.

 

The Measure C committee will:

  • Become familiar with capital expenditures and costs to maintain existing buildings;
  • Perform proper financial oversight, defined in the Measure C ballot language;
  • Report Mesaure C Capital Expediture compliance back to the Board
